Question of the Day

Question of the Day: Ain't That a Kick in the Pants?

by Morning Show

We've all made those phone calls we regret.  And who among us hasn't made the dreaded "butt dial."  Better than drunk-dialing, perhaps, but now the city reports that MOST of its 911 calls are pocket dials--ten thousand or so a day.  So did your butt dial just endanger somebody's life? Yikes. Today's songs about calls-gone-wrong. Leave us your name, hometown, and suggestions in the comments below!

Here's what we played:

1. "Sylvia's Mother," Dr. Hook, The Essential Dr. Hook

Who Thought That Would Be A Good Thing?

by Morning Show

Bryan Adams made "bad idea" history 25 years ago today with the first-ever cassette single.  Seriously?  It's not the dumbest thing we've ever heard, but we figured we'd use the aniversary to dig around for songs about silly things we've done, still do, or plan to do soon.

Here is today's question of the day playlist:

1. "I Made A Mistake" - Bob Marley, Climb the Ladder

2. "Something Stupid" - The Mavericks with Trisha Yearwood, Music For All Occasions

"Never put off until tomorrow...

by Morning Show

...what can be done the day after tomorrow!" In the spirit of this Mark Twain quote, today we're celebrating National Procrastination Week. Or at least, we will, if we get around to it. Usually procrastination gets a bad rap, but if you're an advocate of the last minute, today is your day. What's your soundtrack to putting things off?
