Thanks to all who came out to our Rock Your Body Dance Party at Webster Hall on Saturday night. We sure had the right venue and the right people -- the perfect recipe for a great celebration. The night was a benefit for FUV, and we never had so much fun raising funds. Don't miss the next one! Keep an ear open for our next party date.

Set lists follow for Rita Houston, Russ Borris, Alisa Ali and Corny O'Connell.

FUV Dance Picks: AC/DC

by WFUV Staff

Name: Sarah Wardrop
Job: Assistant Program Director/FUV Music Weekend host
Where You Grew Up: Concord, NH
Favorite Dance song: There are definitely other favorites for me, but the song that weirdly popped into my head first is AC/DC's "You Shook Me All Night Long." I think I'm genetically unable to resist playing air guitar.

FUV Dance Picks: Hippychicks!

by WFUV Staff

Name: George Evans
Job: Director of Technical Operations (Head Engineer) and Fill-in DJ
Where You Grew Up: Westchester County, NY
Favorite Dance Song: "Hippychick" by Soho, sampling The Smiths' "How Soon Is Now"

FUV Dance Picks: Safety First

by WFUV Staff

Name: Darren DeVivo
Job: disc jockey and on air personality on WFUV
Where You Grew Up: The Morris Park section of the Bronx
Favorite Dance song: I've never really liked to dance and, as a result, I can't dance to save my life! To make matters worse, my recent knee injury has taken anything that slightly resembles rhythmic movement out of my step and forced me to the sidelines. Sitting them all out is now necessary for my safety!
