Details
"Just One Angel" is the Anti-holiday Holiday Show; an irreverent alternative concert featuring original Christmas, Hanukah, Solstice, and New Year's songs by New York's 2012 Nightlife Award winning singer/songwriter Christine Lavin teaming up with Uncle Bonsai, the brilliant vocal trio from Seattle. This 2012 national tour starts in Tacoma, Washington, ends in Washington, D.C., featuring guest artists along the way. At both New York shows at Symphony Space's Leonard Nimoy Thalia Theater special guests will be Grammy-winning songwriter Julie Gold, the 8-voice National Harmony Sweepstakes winners The Accidentals, David Ippolito (The Guitar Man of Central Park), Greenwich Village favorite Erik Frandsen, MAC-Award winner cabaret sweetheart Sue Matuski, and actor/singer/songwriter David Rasche -- all artists featured on the compilation album Just One Angel.
Finally, a holiday show for people who hate holiday shows.
The New York Examiner calls Just One Angel "a remarkable music assemblage."
NYC TheaterScenes.com says, "Just One Angel is an imaginative gem."
Gene Shay at Philly's WXPN says: "Off the wall or under the tree, Just One Angel is the greatest selection of holiday songs this side of the North Pole."
