WFUV is thrilled to announce that Lucinda Williams will headline our annual fundraising concert, Holiday Cheer for WFUV, on Wednesday, December 5th at the Beacon Theatre.
Lucinda Williams has long been an FUV fave and standard-bearer for great songwriting of any form. We've followed every step of her career on the radio, from her 1979 blues-based debut through her most recent release, Blessed. She's got an unrivalled gift for storytelling with guts, and we know firsthand that she's a dynamic and moving performer. She'll be backed by her full band, known as Buick 6.
Also featuring Shawn Colvin, Shelby Lynne and special guest Steve Earle.
