Morning Brief: May, 20

A new study found that half of United States’ cancer deaths occur due to bad habits. It states that cancer can be avoided if people stop smoking and heavily drinking, and get a half hour of exercise per day. The study consisted of 100,000 women and 100,000 men. Only 463 women were classified into the “healthy” group, meaning they were not at risk for cancer, while only 463 men were placed into the “healthy” group.
