Even in the fertile Americana music landscape in Brooklyn, Great Caesar is a standout with their well-honed, high energy musicianship and soulful harmonies.

After spending the winter of 2015 woodshedding in the off-season starkness of the Hamptons, they recorded their EP, Jackson's Big Sky (named after the house in the Hamptons), in Brooklyn and in Washington State with Ryan Hadlock, producer of The Lumineers, among others.

Like several thousand other artists, Great Caesar submitted a video to NPR Music's Tiny Desk Concert series and were chosen by WFUV to perform at a station-sponsored showcase at the Gibson Guitar Studios earlier this year.

Ahead of their appearance at "On Your Radar" at Rockwood Music Hall on September 13 they came to WFUV for this "Sunday Supper" studio session.
