Durham County Poets: 2016

When I first heard the Durham County Poets, I assumed they were from the South, perhaps North Carolina. I was half right. They are from Southern Quebec, near the U.S. border, but their music reveals a lot of American influences.
Led by soulful vocalist Kevin Harvey, they are versatile musicians who can move between blues, country, gospel, jazz, and rock, much like their idols The Band, another mostly Canadian group with roots in Americana.
