Vin Scelsa's "Idiot's Delight" for November 23

by WFUV Staff

Vin Scelsa is totally charmed by Lucy Wainwright Roche's beautiful new album, There's A Last Time For Everything. Tonight on "Idiot's Delight"® at 8, Vin will spend some time with Lucy's second collection of songs, released in October and the followup to her 2010 debut, Lucy.

Although Lucy is based out of Brooklyn, her second album was recorded in Nashville and also includes guests Mary Chapin Carpenter and The Decemberists' Colin Meloy. She'll be playiing a show with her parents, Suzzy Roche and Loudon Wainwright, at the Sanctuary in Chatham, NJ on November 30 and will tour with Neko Case through Ireland and the UK in December.

Also on tonight's program, expect other thoughtful tangents, side roads, roundabouts, perambulations and walkabouts.

Don't miss Vin Scelsa's "Idiot's Delight"®, Saturdays from 8-10 p.m. on 90.7FM, also streaming online.

If you're busy on Saturday nights, you can always find "Idiot's Delight"® in the FUV archives for two weeks after broadcast.
