FUV continues its live broadcast of the Clearwater Festival on Sunday afternoon and on UKNY tonight at 11, a preview of another great music and arts festival, Glastonbury. That iconic English extravaganza kicks off five days of sunny (or rain-soaked) bliss next week, June 25-29. We'll hear some of the disparate bands and artists making their way to Somerset's Worthy Farm this year, like Aquilo, Kasabian, Maya Jane Coles and The Rails, the folk rock duo of guitarist James Walbourne and Kami Thompson, who happens to be the daughter of Linda and Richard Thompson (who played at Clearwater earlier tonight). Also, brand new releases from the soulfully sleek Jessie Ware and rousing indie rockers Happyness.

Please join me on UKNY, Saturday nights at 11p.m. EST, following Vin Scelsa's "Idiot's Delight"® and Marshall Crenshaw's "The Bottomless Pit" on 90.7 WFUV, also streaming online.

Didn't catch tonight's show? You can find UKNY in the FUV archives up to two weeks after broadcast.
