New Music Monday is a collection of the best new releases in music each week. We share them with you every Monday, every hour on WFUV.

Jake Bugg- Jake Bugg

Some have called the 18-year-old singer-songwriter the "British Bieber." If that’s the case then they’re certainly doing things much better than us North Americans. This great debut channels The Beatles, Bob Dylan, and Donovan according to the young rocker.

Buddy Miller and Jim Lauderdale- “I Lost My Job Of Loving You”

These two Americana tastemakers have been around a long time, and have worked with an amazing array of artists. How could it not work with the two of them together? The pair strived to write actual duets, and this track is a good example of the collaboration.

Kaki King- Glow

On this new record the guitarist returns to all instrumental recording. Despite the lack of vocals she keeps it interesting with her fantastic guitar playing and beautiful production.

Lana Del Rey- Paradise

Lana has been in the media a lot, especially for an essentially independent sounding artist. Many have said that she's one of those that you either love or hate. With this new record there should be a good deal whose minds are changed for the better; it really works.

Madness- Oui Oui Si Si Ja Ja Da Da

The seminal ska band has been around for almost 35 years now, but these guys sound like they’re teenagers again with this new one.
