The Living Room, the legendary Lower East Side venue, will be closing its doors at 154 Ludlow Street at the end of February. They've been there for 10 years, after 5 years before that around the corner. The Living Room has been an incubator for countless artists, most notably Norah Jones, and has been home to many FUV Live broadcasts and my monthly On Your Radar series, not to mention our first CMJ showcase last fall, featuring Savoir Adore (above) and others.

Faced with a prohibitive rent increase, they’re looking for another location in the neighborhood and have started a Pledge Music campaign to help fund the move and construction of a new space, with some cool items available to thank you for your support. When it comes to listening rooms, The Living Room is one of the very best. Let's show them a little love.
