Wednesday at 9pm on Words and Music: In the hands of Jesca Hoop, songs written in sadness travel in many different directions.

Despite sad circumstances, Jesca Hoop found an uplifting and inspiring way to work through grief: writing songs full of beautiful, disturbing and poignant images for her new album, 'The House That Jack Built'. The California native is now living in the UK, but came back to the U.S. for a tour with Punch Brothers, and Jesca was joined by Aoife O'Donovan when she performed a few of her new songs during an interview with FUV's Kara Manning.
