Living in New York after Beatlemania ran it's course, John Lennon found himself under surveillance and facing deportation by the U.S. government. The new documentary -- 'The U.S. vs. John Lennon' -- chronicles this struggle between peace and politics, and one of the film's creators, David Leaf, recently spoke with Dennis Elsas about the project and the events it portrays.
