Danger Mouse & Daniele Luppi: 2011

The work of an American pop producer and an Italian film composer come together on an atmospheric new album, called Rome.

Danger Mouse (the producer Brian Burton) and Daniele Luppi recruited not only Jack White and Norah Jones, but some of Italy's great session musicians to create a sound that celebrates classic Italian film soundtracks and composers like Ennio Morricone.

Recently, Danger Mouse and Luppi spoke with me about their passion project and their love of spaghetti westerns.
