Hear an Alternate Side in Session with Landlady

Brooklyn's Landlady was formed in 2011 by multi-instrumentalist Adam Shatz. You may already be familiar with Shatz since he plays in a bunch of different bands. To name just a few of the prolific musician's endeavors, he's part of the Afrobeat collective Zongo Junction, the jazz improvisation band Father Figures and the soulfully psychedelic The Shoe Ins. In addition, Adam has played with country punks Those Darlins and Philly's explosively quirky Man Man.This diverse mix of music is all explored and integrated into Adam Shatz's main project, Landlady. The latest release from Landlady is an album called Upright Behavior. On this episode of The Alternate Side in Session, Shatz and his Landlady cohorts perform some of the new material for us and Adam talks about the new record.
