Hear an FUV Live session with Jeremy Messersmith tonight at 9.

This quirky Minneapolis-based singer-songwriter likes to have a theme when writing batches of songs. He considers his first 3 albums a “pop life cycle trilogy” which starts with adolescence on the album The Alcatraz Kid and ends with death on the album The Reluctant Graveyard. Messsersmith followed those albums with a mostly instrumental EP called Paper Moon and is now on his fifth record, Heart Murmurs. As the title implies, the album explores the topic and concept of love.

I recently got a chance to sit down with Jeremy and talk about the new record and he also performed a couple of the new songs live in Studio A. We’ll hear that conversation and performance during this episode of FUV live.
