Franz Ferdinand

Franz Ferdinand - FUV Live - 2013

by Eric Holland

Great Scots Alex Kapranos, Nick McCarthy, Robert Hardy and Paul Thomson first blew us away back in 2004 when they released their self-titled debut. Their style of mixing rock and dance elements with pure pop hooks was infectious and yielded hits like “Take Me Out,” “The Dark Of the Matinee” and “This Fire.” By 2009 – only 5 years after their debut – they’d released two more brilliant albums: You Could Have It So Much Better and Tonight.

Great Scots: Franz Ferdinand are on FUV Live Tonight

by Alisa Ali

Last week, Franz Ferdinand released their fourth full-length album Right Thoughts, Right Words, Right Action, and we sent our trusty DJ Eric Holland down to Avatar Studios in Hell's Kitchen to meet up with the guys. As always, Eric asked the right questions and got the band to perform some of their new songs. Tune in tonight at 9 to hear the full FUV Live session.
