Southern rockers Drive-By Truckers faced a bit of burnout after their last tour, along with a change in personnel. But you'll hear on the new album 'Brighter Than Creation's Dark' that a break did them good, and Alisa Ali spoke with Mike Cooley and Patterson Hood from the band about adding energy and a family feel to the record.

Drive-By Truckers barely took a break between albums, but they did make a little shift in sound for their latest release 'Go-Go Boots.' The album features more Muscle Shoals in the mix, but in a session with FUV's Darren DeVivo, DBT's Mike Cooley and Patterson Hood shared acoustic versions of a few of the new tunes. [2/14/11]
