The Fordham Rams (3-9) notched their third victory of the season by defeating the Siena Saints (2-9) at home on Sunday , 81-75.
Fordham Focus 12/22: One on One with Tom Pecora
Sitting at 2-9 through 11 games, it is clear that the 2012-2013 season has not been an easy one for Fordham Men’s Basketball Head Coach Tom Pecora.
Fordham falls to UConn, 88-73
The Fordham Rams (2-9) were defeated by the Connecticut Huskies (9-2) in Hartford on Friday night, 88-73. UConn led by 29 at the half and seemingly never looked back. Ryan Boatwright has 26 points for the Huskies, as did Branden Frazier for Fordham, good for a career high.

The Fordham Men’s basketball team is not off to the start that they had in mind. Their early season struggles can be attributed to an inexperienced roster, playing just one of their first eleven games at the Rose Hill Gym and the loss of senior forward Chris Gaston, who has led the team in scoring and rebounding the last three seasons.
Rams Complete Incredible Comeback: Stun Princeton 63-60
With three minutes and twenty-two seconds remaining in the second half at the Barclays Center, there was a media timeout on the floor. The Princeton Tigers (3-6) led the Fordham Rams (2-8) 56-46. Many fans may have expected the young Rams team to hang their heads and give up. That was not the case. The Rams closed the game on a 17-4 run after that timeout. Junior guard Branden Frazier would score 13 of his 19 points in the final three plus minutes of game time to lead the Rams to a remarkable to 63-60 win over Princeton.
Fordham Falls at the Garden To Saint John's, 58-47
Fordham Falls to Lehigh 81-63
The Fordham Rams have now played one game at the Rose Hill Gym, and three at the Stabler Arena in Bethlehem, PA. The Rams split two NIT games there earlier in the season, but this time Fordham fell to the hometown Lehigh Mountain Hawks 81-63. For Lehigh, it was their 11th straight win at home dating back to last season.
Fordham Falls to Harvard 73-64
The Fordham Rams continued their rough start to the 2012 season this afternoon, losing at Harvard 73-64. Fordham did have an 11 point lead in the first half, their largest of the season, but saw it slip away in minutes as the Crimson got the inside game going. Three Rams would foul out late in the second half, as they let the Crimson make 29 out of 39 free throws to put the game out of reach.
Fordham Drops Home Opener to Manhattan, 65-58
After opening up the season at 1-4 on the road, the Rams were eager to give a packed Rose Hill Gym a win in their first home game. Instead, they suffer a tough loss to the Manhattan Jaspers in a game they led in the middle of the second half.
