On Saturday afternoon the Fordham Rams basketball team fell on the road to the Monmouth Hawks by a score of 87-78 at the Multipurpose Activity Center. The loss puts Fordham at 6-4 overall, while Monmouth improves to 6-6.
Fordham (6-3) never trailed in a 79-60 win over Howard (2-11) at the historic Rose Hill Gym.

The Fordham Athletic Department announced today that Junior Center Ryan Canty will be taking a leave of absence from the basketball team.
A press release sent out late Monday afternoon said that Canty needs "to address personal issues."
