Recently, Murray was named the First Team 2012 Associated Press NCAA FCS All-American placekicker. Murray has also been named the winner of the 2012 Fred Mitchell Award, which honors the nation's top collegiate place-kicker among more than 750 FCS, Division II, III, NAIA and NJCAA football teams. The award is given to the most outstanding kicker, both on and off the field.
