Monday Night Quarterback 9/24: Columbia Analysis, Lehigh Preview
Fordham outlasts Columbia for the Liberty Cup
Fordham outlasted Columbia Saturday afternoon 20-13, claiming its third consecutive Liberty Cup title. In the 11th renewal of the Cup, it was the Rams defense who came up big near the end on Lions QB Sean Brackett. A key penalty against Brackett occurred when he threw a touchdown pass on fourth down with under 2 minutes to go, but his foot was over the line of scrimmage and Fordham regained possession and ran out the clock.

PATRIOT LEAGUE PREVIEW: FORDHAM
This is the seventh of seven articles that preview the 2012 Patriot League teams. They are in the inverse order of the preseason poll voting by Patriot League football head coaches and sports information directors, who did not include their own school in the selections.
Fordham was not included in the poll because it will not be able to compete for the Patriot League championship and NCAA automatic bid in 2012, and its games against League members will not count towards the final standings for either team.
