Fordham used the crowd, and some veteran leadership to propel them a 66-63 victory over Rhode Island on Saturday at the Rose Hill Gym. Like the last home game the Rams played against UMass, the battle of the Rams went right down the wire and foul shooting was the key.
The Fordham Rams continued their rough start to the 2012 season this afternoon, losing at Harvard 73-64. Fordham did have an 11 point lead in the first half, their largest of the season, but saw it slip away in minutes as the Crimson got the inside game going. Three Rams would foul out late in the second half, as they let the Crimson make 29 out of 39 free throws to put the game out of reach.
