A Rain Delay in Basketball

The headline is not a typo. Tonight's game between the Brooklyn Nets and Miami Heat was delayed due to a leak in the roof of the Barclays Center for approximately 31 minutes with 1:47 remaining in the first quarter.

Per a conversation with about 20 members of the media, we believe it to be the first ever rain delay in an NBA game. Please enjoy the three photos, featuring the progression of how the leak was contained before play resumed.

Branden Frazier Works out for the Brooklyn Nets

Branden Frazier got a special opportunity Tuesday - a chance to workout for his hometown Brooklyn Nets and take a step towards playing in the NBA, something he says he's always dreamed of.

"I think I did pretty well, he said. "There's a lot of shooting stuff I could have done better with, but it's about working."
