After opening the 2014-15 season with a 4 game road trip, the New Jersey Devils returned to the Prudential Center Saturday night to begin their home campaign against the San Jose Sharks.  The Devils opened up their season on October 9th in Philadelphia with a 6-4 win, and then followed that up with a 5-1 win in Florida against the Panthers.  The Devils then stayed in the “Sunshine State,” and beat the Tampa Bay Lightning in a close 2-1 win.  On October 16, the Devils suffered their first loss of the season, losing 6-2 to the Capitals in Washington.
