Rams split two games, face big challenge in season's penultimate home game

A win against George Washington and a heartbreaking double overtime loss at Richmond characterized a roller coaster week for Fordham Women's Basketball.

Hosting an upstart Colonials squad, Fordham jumped ahead late in the second half and protected their home court. The win allowed the Rams to hold down third place in the conference with two weeks to go.  Their double overtime loss to Richmond, however, pushed Fordham down to fourth place with three games to go before the conference tourney.  If the Rams meet the Spiders again, they will certainly remember taking the final shot in regulation, overtime, and double overtime for the win.
