Star Quarterback Michael Nebrich Hurt in Nail-biting Win

Today’s game was not for the faint of heart. Fordham saw their 17-7 lead in the 3rd quarter disappear right before their eyes, as Bucknell went up 21-17 as the third came to a close. But the Rams rallied back, thanks to a Mike Marando field goal, to give them a 23-21 lead with eight minutes to play. It was a long eight minutes as the final 60 seconds alone featured turnovers, penalties and a blocked field goal, but Fordham hung on for the victory.

However, it wasn't all good news, as quarterback Michael Nebrich left the game in the first half with an apparent leg injury and he did not return. No word yet on his status going forward for the Rams' last two regular season games.

Michael Watts and Nick Logerfo, the game’s broadcasters, helped break down the madness and name their players of the game. Tara Sledjeski caught up with a relieved Coach Moorhead after the victory.
