AD Talks Spring Sports, A10 Realignment, Athletic Honor Roll and Much More
The first Saturday of the month can mean just one thing: Fordham Athletic Director David Roach on One on One. Despite the fact that Mack Rosenberg and I were in Philadelphia to call the Fordham/St. Joe’s game, we couldn’t miss the opportunity to get caught up on all things Fordham sports.
The three of us spoke about all the traveling Roach has been doing in the last month, from the Atlantic 10 Swimming and Diving championships in Ohio, to accompanying Rams senior kicker/punter Patrick Murray to Chicago as he received the 2012 Fred Mitchell Award. Later in the conversation, we speak about the atmosphere in the Rose Hill Gym during big games like the one against Butler, and whether or not Fordham should change their starting times for Saturday basketball games. The Fordham AD was also very pleased to talk about Fordham having 144 student-athletes named to the Commissioner’s Honor Roll, the most of any school in the Atlantic 10.
Our conversation also touched on many other Fordham topics, so make sure to click the plug-in below to hear it all.
