Forwards Chris Obekpa and Ryan Canty have career days at Madison Square Garden

The Rams fell to St. John's in their annual trip to Madison Square Garden, 58-47. It was a game in which Fordham led 27-24 at halftime, but the Red Storm gained momentum as the second half started. The big names in this game were sophomore Ryan Canty for Fordham and freshman Chris Obekpa for St. John's. Obekpa had a career high 11 blocks, also good for a Red Storm single game record.  Obekpa entered the game averaging over 4 blocks a game, one of the highest marks in the nation.  Ryan Canty had another career night with 15 points and a career high 16 rebounds, good for his first career double double.

Fordham has lost five in a row and fell to 1-8 on the season with the loss. They'll look to snap that skid next Saturday, December 15th when they play Princeton at the Barclays Center in Brooklyn. It'll be a 2:30 tip off with the One on One pregame report at 2:25 on both 90.7 FM and WFUVSports.org.
