Leading 30-23 at halftime, the Fordham Rams did not look back as they went on to beat the Siena Saints 69-67. With the Rams up seven at the half, we got the chance to talk with Mike Breen, a WFUV sports alumnus, the voice of the New York Knicks on MSG, and the voice of the NBA on ESPN, as part of the One on One Halftime Report.

Fordham Edges Siena For 2nd Win

The Fordham Rams edged out the Siena Saints 69-67 on Monday evening at the Rose Hill Gym.

Coming off losses to UMass-Lowell and the University of Maryland Eastern Shore, the Rams needed a win desperately. Many did not think they had a chance against a Siena team that had won its previous two road contests. Fordham proved the nay-sayers wrong, and an emphatic block by freshman Eric Paschall sealed the win in the final seconds. 

Monday Night Quarterback 12/1: Sacred Heart Analysis, New Hampshire Preview

The #9 Fordham Rams will move on to the second round of the 2014 FCS Playoffs as they defeated #22 Sacred Heart by a final score of 44-22 on November 29th.

On this edition of Monday Night Quarterback, Mike Watts and Nick Logerfo chat with Head Coach Joe Moorhead, Defensive Line Coach Darin Edwards, RB Chase Edmonds and LB George Dawson. They recap the Sacred Heart victory, look ahead to facing top-seeded New Hampshire, and comment on the team's defense.

 

Fordham Falls 42-31 to Army

Halftime was just seconds away when Army blocked a punt and fell on it in the endzone for a touchdown to give them a 4 point lead heading into halftime. The Black Knights never looked back scoring 28 unanswered points on their way to a 42-31 victory.

Fordham Falls to Maryland, 66-50

The Fordham Rams fell 66-50 on Thursday night while visiting the University of Maryland Terrapins.

Juniors Ryan Rhoomes and Mandell Thomas led the Rams with 14 points apiece. Rhoomes also had 7 rebounds. Senior Bryan Smith lead the team with 9 rebounds.
