It's the final edition of the Stephanie Gaitley Show of the 2014-15 season, as Matt Moro and Drew Casey sit down with Coach Gaitley to look back at another successful Fordham Women's Basketball season.

The team finished at 21-12, winning an opening round game of the WNIT against Central Connecticut State last Thursday before falling in the season finale, a second round loss at St. John's to the Red Storm this past Sunday.

Fordham Tops George Mason in First Round of A-10 Tournament

The Fordham Rams defeated the Patriots of George Mason by a final score of 71-65 in the first round of the Atlantic 10 Tournament. The Rams' win marks the second consecutive season in which they will move on to the second round of the conference tournament as they get set to face VCU on March 12th with tip-off set for 2:30 pm.

Men’s Basketball Loses Season Finale to St. Bonaventure

The Fordham Rams couldn't capture a last win in the 2014-2015 regular season, falling to St. Bonaventure, 66-52. The loss dropped the Rams to 9-20 overall this season.

The Rams held a 28-23 halftime lead, but a more focused St. Bonaventure team showed up to play in the 2nd half. The loss leaves Fordham hoping to put on a better showing in the A-10 Tournament next week in Brooklyn.  The Bonnies outscored the Rams, 43-24 in the second half on their way to a 17th victory this season.

It goes without saying that the Fordham men’s basketball team has been struggling for quite a while now. Only once in the past 22 years have the Rams finished above .500. And with only three games left in the 2014-15 season and the Rams sitting at 9-17 overall and 4-11 in the Atlantic 10, they’re sure to finish this season with a losing record as well.

Fordham Cruises to a 63-48 Win Over LaSalle

The Fordham Rams continue to play well at home, winning their 3rd consecutive home game tonight against the LaSalle Explorers.  This marked their 8th win at home this season, and they are now 8-7 when playing in the friendly confines of the Rose Hill Gym.  

Fordham was lead offensively by Christian Sengfelder who lead the team with 14 rebounds, and contributed 14 points, going 7-10 from the field.  Bryan Smith and Jon Severe led the Rams in scoring and contributed 15 points on the day.
