This weekend marks the unofficial start of steamy summertime, whether you're ready for it or not. On tonight's UKNY at 11, a batch of newly-minted British releases with a starry, dancing-in-the-moonlight vibe from Ibibio Sound Machine, Eno · Hyde, Tourist with Lianne La Havas, Basement Jaxx, Oliver Wilde and much more. Plus, tonight's Commonwealth Cut from Nistha Raj cuts a path from Texas to New Dehli, India with an eye to Brooklyn this July.

On a special edition of UKNY at 11 tonight, a session and conversation with Damon Albarn, who released his "official" solo debut, Everyday Robots, just ten days ago. Damon talks about the extremely autobiographical nature of the album which stretches from his childhood, running feral through Turkish souks, to present day, as the perplexed father of a teenager. In the second half of the show, new music from The Proper Ornaments, Fold and more.

On tonight's UKNY at 11, there are simply so many excellent new albums that have just been released or are slated to come out in just days, that it's a bit overwhelming—so expect offerings from Gruff Rhys, Eno • Hyde (pictured), Elephant and more. Next week also brings an influx of great British bands to New York for shows, like Foals, Bombay Bicycle Club and Toy, so we'll round up some tracks from them as well.
