New York Senate Republicans Say They're in Ethics Talks

New York's Senate Republicans say they're "actively engaged" in talks with Gov. Andrew Cuomo aimed at ethics reforms, calling for "full transparency" but without banning outside income.

   Majority Leader Dean Skelos says they're aiming at "a comprehensive package" of reforms to restore New Yorkers' trust in government.

Promising to take the state higher than ever before, Andrew Cuomo's been re-elected to a second term as Governor of New York. The Democrat was widely expected to cruise to victory as Cuomo outspent Republican challenger Rob Astorino nearly 10 to 1. In Manhattan last night, Cuomo talked of a unified New York.
