Rita Houston says: "There's something about Studio A that brings out the best in artists who visit WFUV. Maybe it's the vibe here, or our DJ's, or the quality of our equipment, or the competence of our engineers (many of whom are Fordham students). I know a lot of it comes from respect for the WFUV audience. Musicians know you are knowledgeable music fans with high standards." Ryan Adams' bad boy behavior has often earned him as much attention as his gift for songwriting, but he's channeled the focus of several changes in his life into a beautiful album, 'Ashes & Fire.' Full Session [8/23/11]

LA band Dawes followed up their impressive debut by performing with Robbie Robertson and Jackson Browne. They visited FUV again after their second album, 'Nothing Is Wrong,' for this acoustic duo performance from the Goldsmith brothers. Full Session [8/2/11]
