Tom Tom Club return with some new songs, some new rhythms and some great stories in this exclusive, wide ranging interview and Guest DJ session at WFUV. Chris Frantz and Tina Weymouth sat down with us on The Whole Wide World to premiere songs from the new EP, Downtown Rockers. The title track set the tone for their inspired guest DJ set as all the artists are name-checked in the song. Thank Goodness Its' Friday! We have a very exciting show lined up for the Whole Wide World tonight. Join Rita and I for a conversation with the legendary group, Tom Tom Club. Rocking out since 1981, the duo will be discussing their newly released EP, Downtown Rockers, as well as taking over the airwaves for a guest DJ set. Check out their new music video for the title track below. We will also be wrapping up coverage of this week's CMJ music festival by playing some of her favorite bands of the showcase including Savoir Adore and Wax Poetic.
