David Ford - FUV Live - 2013

by Carmel Holt

After the dissolution of his band Easyworld, British musician David Ford went solo in 2005; releasing his debut album I Sincerely Apologize For All The Trouble I've Caused. The album was very well received by critics and the praise for his work continues to the present. He's now on his 4th full length album, Charge and in a recent review in the UK paper, The Guardian he was descibed as such: "Ford's forte is delivering wordy nuanced meditations on personal and political concerns with verve and aplomb." David certainly displayed verve during a recent FUV Live session which you can check out right here.

David Ford - Words and Music - 2010

by Claudia Marshall
David Ford got signed by a major label a few years back after wowing the crowds at SXSW. For his most recent album, 'Let the Hard Times Roll,' he went back to his DIY roots playing most of the instruments, and releasing it on an indie label. He stopped by to play some new music, and tell WFUV's Claudia Marshall that in spite of his UK roots he's more Springsteen than the Stones. [3/26/10]
